The Medennium Board of Directors is comprised of experienced,
accomplished individuals, represented by leading business, industry,
clinical and management professionals.

Barbara Fant, Pharm.D – Regulatory Consultant
Ray Ogle joined Medennium as Chief Executive
Officer in 1997 and currently holds the position of Chairman of
the Board. With 30 years of experience in the medical device industry,
Mr. Ogle is responsible for bringing over 350 products to market.
He served on the Board of Directors of Ethicon, Inc. and Ethicon
Endo-Surgery, Inc. (a Johnson & Johnson company). Mr. Ogle
also manages his own consulting firm and serves on the boards
of two Cincinnati-based companies. He received his Bachelor’s
Degree in Physics from Henderson State College and served four
years as a naval officer.
Jacob Feldman, founder of International Vision, Inc. (IVI),
has served on the Board of Directors as President and Chief Operating
Officer since the company’s inception, and is currently Chief
Executive Officer. IVI originally developed the PRL™ Phakic
Refractive Lens, which is now being manufactured by Medennium
and marketed through CIBA Vision. Mr. Feldman has 20 years of
management experience in small businesses and start-up ventures,
and spent eight years as an international project manager in the
former Soviet Union for Ethicon Endo-Surgery, Inc. (a Johnson
& Johnson Company). Mr. Feldman earned his Master’s Degree
in Mechanical Engineering at the Engineering Institute USSR.
Richard Grant is a co-founder of International Vision,
Inc. (IVI) and has served on the Board of Directors since its
inception. Mr. Grant was Director of Product Development for Johnson
& Johnson and has 25 years of experience in the Product Development,
Quality, and Regulatory divisions of a number of medical device
and aircraft companies. Mr. Grant earned his Bachelor's degree
in Mathematics and Economics at the West Virginia Institute of
Technology. He recently retired from J&J to pursue opportunities
in management and his own development company.
Barbara Fant, Pharm.D. has served as a regulatory consultant
to International Vision, Inc. (IVI) since January of 1996. She
has been involved in new drug development for 14 years, and in
ophthalmic device development for the past four years. In 1992,
Dr. Fant founded Clinical Research Consultants, Inc., which provides
clinical research support services to the pharmaceutical and medical
device industries. She is a leading expert in the FDA regulatory
process as it relates to excimer lasers and other ophthalmic devices.
Dr. Fant specializes in helping start-up companies and investigator/sponsors
develop and implement their clinical operating plans and move
successfully through the FDA regulatory process. She received
a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from OhioNorthern University
and a Doctorate in Pharmacy from the University of Cincinnati.
